1961
Born July 30, 1961, 8lbs, 3oz in Syracuse, NY.
1965
Fell out of tree and broke right arm. Head missed concrete slab by inches.
1969
Watched man walk on the moon.
1971
Watched the LA Lakers defeat the Baltimore Bullets on a family trip to Washington DC in what would be the first game of a 33 game win streak. It’s a record that still stands today.
1975
Elected President of Student Council at Emerson J. Dillon Junior High School in Phoenix NY.
1977
Watched from behind home plate in Yankee Stadium as Reggie Jackson hit 3 home runs in game 6 of the World Series against the LA Dodgers.
1979
Graduated from John C. Birdlebough High School in Phoenix, NY. Led golf team to Sectional Championship. Entered freshman year at SUNY at Oswego. Made basketball and golf team.
1981
Left college and 4 year summer golf job at Beaver Meadows Golf & Country Club to enlist in the United States Air Force.
1985
Honorably discharged from the United States Air Force. Watched Live Aid live.
1987
Graduated from St. Leo University with a degree in business. Worked in West Palm Beach, Florida as a Series 7 licensed stockbroker. Left the industry after the great crash of 1987.
1988
Hired at Glacier National Park, Montana to manage the Many Glacier Lounge. Met Christi House. Traveled the Pacific Coast Highway.
1991
Earned a Master’s Degree in Education from SUNY at Oswego. Married Christi House. Began teaching career in Stafford County Virginia. Coached football, basketball and baseball.
1995
Hired to teach middle school computers at Brent International School, Philippines. Sold house and all possessions to make the move.
1997
Hired to help open up a new International School in Cambodia. Diverted to International School Eastern Seaboard in Thailand because of a Cambodian coup. Worked as a PE Teacher and Athletic Director.
1999
Our son Casey Robert Pluff is born.
2001
Moved home to the states to work at Baker High School in Baldwinsville, NY as a Business Teacher. Our daughter Calli Ann Pluff is born.
2002
Formed a rock band and named it Free Ride.
2004
Laid off from teaching position due to low enrollment. Built KidzClub Indoor Play and Party Place Incorporated from scratch in 6,000 square feet of abandoned grocery store space.
2005
Hired back to teach business classes due to a retirement in the department.
2010
Volunteered to head up a national middle school computer course at Ray Middle School in Baldwinsville, NY called TechYES.
2013
Formed Upcentral Publishing Company. Wrote and published “The A-Z Basketball Book, What Every Player Needs to Know to Be Great at the Game!” Grateful for the endorsement from Syracuse University Men’s Basketball Coach Jim Boeheim.
2014
Returned to Baker High School to teach business classes.
2020
Wrote and published Great Life for Teens, What Every Teen Needs to Know to Succeed in Life.
2021
Will celebrate 30 years of marriage and look forward to more great days ahead.
